I’m glad I tried this place! It’s a small hidden gem worth visiting. The food delivers big on flavor. The food is fresh, well-seasoned, and portion size is perfect. The service was quick and friendly, making it perfect for a busy day when you need something tasty on the go. I ordered the Peri Bowl and it was absolutely delicious—, flavourful, and satisfying. If you’re looking for a great takeaway spot with amazing food and fair prices, Monteiro Express is definitely worth a visit. I’ll be coming back for more!

I’m a huge foodie & I’ve tried a bunch of restaurants in Scarborough but I can honestly say the food is spectacular!! This is officially my favourite place to eat. The chicken has perfect amount of spice level and full of flavour it is so juicy and tender! The salad is soo delicious and the dressing is fresh. The rice everything was perfect! Very decent prices too and fast service 10/10 highly recommend!

Absolute Gem! The chicken is perfectly cooked and falls right off the bone. I love the seasoning on the fries. The amount of food you get for 10 Is amazing and fulling. This is the second time that I've been here. I've ordered the Piri Bowl and the Wings. both were bangers. This is the perfect place to get a lunch if you're in the area

If you’re into bold flavors, definitely go with the spicy option — it’s got that desi-level heat that hits just right . The portion was filling for one person, and the chicken was well-seasoned with generous sauce. My only small issue was that the fries weren’t as crispy as I like — a bit more crunch would’ve made it perfect. The place itself has a fun vibe — loved the “Tiny Bites of Heaven” wall and the Montreal-style decor. Plenty of parking and good seating space, though it could be arranged a bit more efficiently. Overall, amazing value and great taste. Will definitely return for a quick, flavorful bite!
